Onion Finely Chopped

Instructions
Cooking Steps
Rinse the bajra and moong dal and soak them in water for at least 30 minutes.
In a pressure cooker, heat oil over medium heat. Add cumin and mustard seeds and let them splutter.
Add chopped onions and sauté for 2-3 minutes until they turn translucent.
Add chopped tomatoes, carrots, and beans and sauté for another 2-3 minutes.
Drain the bajra and moong dal and add them to the pressure cooker. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, salt, and water. Mix well.
Close the pressure cooker and cook for 3-4 whistles or until the bajra and dal are cooked.
Once the pressure releases, open the cooker and mix the khichadi well. If the khichadi is too thick, add some water to adjust the consistency.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
