Preparation
Slice the whole wheat bread evenly.
Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh into a bowl.
Mash the avocado with a fork until creamy. Add lemon juice, black pepper and a pinch of salt to the mashed avocado.
Cooking Steps
Heat a griddle or toaster and lightly toast the bread slices until golden brown and crispy.
Spread the mashed avocado mixture generously over the toasted sourdough slices.
Grate Amul cheese evenly over the avocado spread.
Place the avocado cheese toast in an oven or under a broiler for 2-3 minutes or until the cheese melts and bubbles slightly. Alternatively, you can melt the cheese on a stovetop using a covered pan.
Sprinkle fresh cilantro on top for added flavor and presentation.
