Slice the sourdough bread evenly.
Cut the avocado in half, remove the pit, and scoop out the flesh into a bowl.
Mash the avocado with a fork until creamy. Add lemon juice, black pepper and a pinch of salt to the mashed avocado.
Cooking Steps
Heat a griddle or toaster and lightly toast the sourdough bread slices until golden brown and crispy.
Spread the mashed avocado mixture generously over the toasted sourdough slices.
Grate cheese evenly over the avocado spread.
