Turmeric powder

Arhar Dal (Raw)
1 small bowl (100g)
Instructions
Cooking Steps
Rinse the Arhar dal in water until the water runs clear. Drain and set aside.
In a pressure cooker, heat over medium heat. Dry roast cumin seeds.
Add the drained Arhar dal and mix well.
Add water, turmeric powder, salt and stir again.
Pressure cook for 3-4 whistles or until the dal is cooked through.
Let the pressure release naturally. Once the pressure is released, open the cooker and stir the dal well.
Serve hot.
