Onion Finely Chopped

Chopped Green Chilli

Instructions
Preparation
Peel and dice the potato.
Cooking Steps
In a pressure cooker or a pan, heat oil over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn translucent.
Add ginger paste and saute for 1-2 minutes until the raw smell goes away.
Add tomatoes, green chili, red chilli powder and salt. Mix well and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add diced potatoes and mix well.
Add water and mix well.
Cover the pan and let it cook for 15-20 minutes over medium heat until the potatoes are soft and tender or put the lid on the pressure cooker and give 2-3 whistles.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
