Preparation
-Peel and dice the potato.
Cooking Steps
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add chopped onions and sauté for 2-3 minutes until they turn translucent.
Add chopped tomatoes and green chili. Cook for 3-4 minutes until they soften and turn mushy.
Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, and salt. Stir well.
Add cubed potatoes and mix well, ensuring the potatoes are coated in the masala.
Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally until the potatoes are cooked through and tender.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
