Preparation
For Boiling Potato:
1- Pressure cook Potato for 3-4 whistle.
For Boiling Green Peas:
Add the fresh green peas to the boiling water.
Let the peas boil for 5-7 minutes or until they are tender but not mushy.
Cooking Steps
In a mixing bowl, add boiled and mashed potatoes, boiled and mashed green peas, chopped onion, chopped green chili, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.
Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each portion into a round patty.
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, place the patties in the pan and fry until golden brown and crispy on both sides.
Once done, remove the tikkis from the pan and place them on a paper towel to absorb any excess oil.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
