Instructions
Preparation
- Peel, wash and cut potatoes in dice shape and keep aside.
Cooking Steps
Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium heat.
Add chopped onions, ginger paste, and garlic paste and sauté until the onions turn translucent.
Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.
Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. Stir well.
Add diced potatoes and mix until they are coated with the masala.
Add 1/2 cup of water and cover the pan with a lid. Let it cook until the potatoes are soft and tender, stirring occasionally.
Once the potatoes are cooked, add skimmed milk curd and mix well.
Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the gravy thickens.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
