Instructions
Cooking Steps
Heat oil in a pan over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add chopped onions and green chili. Saute for 2-3 minutes until the onions are translucent.
Add chopped tomatoes and cook for 3-4 minutes until they soften and turn mushy.
Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, red chili powder, and salt. Stir well.
Add cubed potatoes and mix well, ensuring the potatoes are coated in the masala.
Add 1 cup of water and mix well. Cover the pan with a lid and let it cook for 20-25 minutes over low heat until the potatoes are soft and fully cooked, stirring occasionally.
Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
