In times of tough competition in every walk of life, people have started allocating more time to their work by reducing time spent on health. Thus, diabetes has become very common in today’s time. In fact, India has now become the Diabetes capital of the world.

Being overweight or having a family history is one of the most common causes of this disease.
Understanding Type-2 Diabetes
Insulin is present in the pancreas and it helps to convert glucose into energy. With Type-2 Diabetes, the body doesn’t produce enough insulin and is unable to use insulin efficiently. Instead of converting sugar into energy, it contacts the bloodstream. An overweight or obese person increases the risk of Type-2 Diabetes. Thus, it becomes hard to control the blood sugar level.
